Manhattan, AZ is a short-lived Comedy off-beat television show that aired on the USA Network during the Summer of 2000. Considered to be ahead of its time. LA cop Daniel Henderson (Brian McNamara) makes a living by working for the vice squad until tragedy strikes and his wife is killed in a freak Greenpeace accident. Feeling lost and left alone to raise his teenage son Atticus (Vincent Berry), Henderson takes up the job of sheriff of Manhattan, Arizona, a town so small that it’s not even on the map. Once there, Henderson is confronted by the town’s mayor, Jake Manhattan (Chad Everett), who has stretched the truth about the town and Henderson’s role in it. Henderson quickly finds that social graces and physical laws are very different in the quirky desert town of Manhattan, AZ.
