Takeshi Mori (もり たけし, Mori Takeshi, real name: 森 健 (Mori Takeshi), October 10, 1963) is a Japanese anime director, storyboard artist and scriptwriter from Tokyo, Japan. His biological father is Tōru Mori (森 徹, Mori Tōru), a former professional baseball player. Throughout his career, he has used the aliases Shin Nemoto (根本 清, Nemoto Shin), Inumakura (いぬまくら) and Urano Kantoku (浦野 寛徳) (the latter meaning “director behind the scenes”).
Ranma Saotome, a teenage martial artist, and his father Genma travel to the 'cursed training ground' of Jusenkyo in China. There, despite the warnings of the Chinese guard, they fall into the cursed springs. From now on, whenever Ranma is doused in cold water, he turns into a girl and a cute, well-built redhead at that.
