Hiroko isn't satisfied with this but Yoshikuni keeps on avoiding her. On their first day, Yoshikuni and Mitsuhiro set out to buy food for dinner. They bumped into Osamu, a day student. Hiroko and her friend Aki turns up. Aki asks Yoshikuni why he dumped Hiroko for no apparent reason. Hiroko can't take it any more and bursts into tears. Takagi who lives in the dormitory next door sees this. Some days later, Mitsuhiro's step-mother Keiko visits the Shoraikan dormitory. He is cold-hearted towards her, like a different person.
