Scott Z. Burns (born 1962) is an American screenwriter, producer, director, and playwright. He is best known for his collaborations with Steven Soderbergh, who directed Burns' scripts "The Informant" (2009), "Contagion" (2011), "Side Effects" (2013) and "The Laundromat" (2019).
