Kinoshita Takao is a director of a joint television (belongs to a joint television subsidiary Basis). He graduated from Yokohama Broadcast Film Institute (present · Japan Film University). After graduating from a vocational school, he freelanced. Under the supervision of Fukumoto Yoshito, Wakamatsu Setsuro, and Onohara Kazuhiro, he worked as an assistant director. In 1990, he directed his debut as a "strange event". After that, he mainly worked on drama of joint television productions.
