Catherine Tsang (曾勵珍), also known as Sister Tsang (珍姐), is a Hong Kong television director. She began her entertainment career in the early 1970s as a radio broadcaster for Hong Kong Radio Station. She joined TVB in 1974, starting as an assistant director, then working as a director and was later promoted to Deputy Director of the Drama Division.
In a high-stakes corruption case, ICAC Principal Investigator Kong Kin-chau edges closer to the truth within a listed company. Chief Investigator Szeto Kai-man and Assistant Investigator Ting Sum go undercover as a father-daughter duo to gather evidence against a construction firm, while Firearms Team member Chui Ho-nam and Assistant Investigator Chung Hau-ling help secure crucial intel. Meanwhile, Senior Investigator Ng Hok-bun exposes corruption within the prison system. Despite differing views and setbacks, the team remains steadfast in pursuing justice in the secondary school engineering scandal.

Wong Ka-Nam disappeared to the United States, leaving behind her son and husband in Hong Kong. When her husband dies in an airplane accident looking for her, Wong Ka-Nam's son, Luk Chit is taken into the custody of her mother-in-law, Ng Hang. After eighteen long years, Wong Ka-Nam wishes to see her son again and returns to Hong Kong. However, she is met with adamant resistance from her mother-in-law, who views Ka-Nam as bad luck, blaming her for the death of her son. Highly protective of her grandson and fearing that Wong Ka-Nam will attempt to take him away, Ka Nam's mother-in-law does everything in her power to keep mother and son apart. However, Wong Ka-Nam is ironically assisted by her own son, who befriends her and secures her office job in his advertising agency.

So (Dicky Cheung), the only son of a landlord in the countryside, had had a quarrel with a retired eunuch and thus escaped to the city with his fiancee, Kwai (Lam Yi Kei), and his fellowman, Wing (Chiang Chi Kwong). They met Hung and again they started a dispute. In the end, they made peace and So even asked to become Hung’s student. However, Hung refused. So, nevertheless, followed Hung and made friends with his students, Gai (Ho Po Sang), Chi (Andy Hui), Kwan (Tsang Wai Kuen) and Hing (Yip Yuk Ping). Whilst So was having fun at Hung’s school, “Po Chi Lam”, he also started a complicated relationship with Yan (Winnie Lau), who had returned from abroad, and Chu (Gigi Lai), a young prostitute. Then, he had row with Bo (Bobby Au Yeung) who set him up and accused him of wrong doings which also involved Hung and his students. The eunuch with whom So had quarreled also appeared to get his revenge. What could So do?

Inspector YUAI HUI (Lui Leung wai) and girlfriend CHU PAO WEN (Kiki sheung Tien ngor) are close to getting married, but they break due to a minor row. Hui subsequently develops an affair with Lady Senior Inspector LIN HIS YA(Cally Kwong Mei Wan), but their engagement is trouble-ridden.
