Skavlan is a Norwegian-Swedish television talk show hosted by Norwegian journalist Fredrik Skavlan. It premiered in Sweden on Sveriges Television in January 2009, and the first guests to appear on the show were former Prime Minister of Sweden Göran Persson and his wife Anitra Steen. On 8 May 2009, it was announced that Skavlan had been renewed for a second season. It was also announced that the show would no longer only be produced by SVT in Sweden; Skavlan would now be partly produced in Norway by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. The first twelve episodes of Skavlan's second season were produced by SVT in Sweden, and the remaining twelve by NRK in Norway. Skavlan speaks Norwegian and his dialog is therefore subtitled in Swedish in Sweden, even though the two languages are quite similar and mutually intelligible. If the persons being interviewed by Skavlan are Swedish, he often tells them to let him know if they do not understand what he is saying. Swedish novelist Jan Guillou has criticized SVT for subtitling the program, stating "there is no need for that. If the host had been Danish, subtitling would have been necessary, but with a Norwegian host it does not make any sense."

On February 22, 1999, Stellan Sundahl died, days after taping an episode that was shown the day before he died. Snacka om nyheter took many rounds from the British original, including the "Film Round", "Tabloid Headlines", "Odd One Out", "Missing Words" and "Caption Competition". Other elements borrowed from Have I Got News for You were the opening that included the phrase "Good evening and welcome to Snacka om nyheter" followed by a punch-line and the three "news reports" in the beginning as well as the humorous delivery of the scores. In 2008 the show began airing again, this time on Kanal 9, hosted by Kajsa Ingmarsson and produced by Jarowskij.

Percy Nilegård has gotten in to the commercial radio business. The radio station rents premises of the fire station and its chief, the self willed Greger who's in charge of six well built firemen. One of them gets a presentation first in every episode, when we get into their special and relaxed relationship to each other. Percy is always after money and his ways to entice sponsors get more and more unconventional. We also follow the main radio host Glenn Killing with various (and often peculiar) guests. Björnes magasin was a Swedish children's TV program broadcast by SVT 31 August 1987–2004. It was produced and created by Kerstin Hedberg and Anita Bäckström. This program is about the teddy bear Björne, played by Jörgen Lantz and Pontus Gustafsson. Other actors who have appeared as Björne's "guests" in the program are among Robert Gustafsson, Eva Funck, Vanna Rosenberg, Anders Linder, Carl-Einar Häckner, Johan Ulveson and Anders Lundin. Together they often watch children's TV programs, which allowed the main programme to also function as a frame story. In 2006 Björnes magasin and Hjärnkontoret were voted as the 2nd best children's TV program on Folktoppen.
