A pesar de que los Destrons han sido expulsados de la Tierra, un pequeño grupo de Cybertron (pretenders), permanece en la Tierra por si acaso vuelven, liderados por Metalhawk ("Hawk" en su identidad Humana) intentan convivir con los humanos, mezlcandose con ellos, la preocupación de los Cybertron se vé reafirmada, cuando de pronto aparecen los Destrons liderados por una misteriosa fuerza llamada "Z", y de nuevo comienza la aventura para librar a la tierra y al universo del mal.
