'Cardo' narra la historia de María, una chica madrileña al borde de 30 años sin mucho que ofrecer al mundo, enganchada a las drogas y a desenvolverse a través de relaciones tóxicas y sexuales, odia su cuerpo a la vez que lo utiliza para conseguir retos efímeros. La ficción reflexiona sobre las expectativas que se nos imponen según lo que somos físicamente, según lo que somos socialmente y el vacío de toda una generación de jóvenes que hoy rondan los 30 años. Cómo llenamos ese vacío a través de consumismo y placeres efímeros sin ahondar en lo que realmente nos pasa ni en quiénes realmente somos.
