1000 maneras de morir (Temporada 1)

El programa mezcla elementos de suspenso, horror, drama y humor negro, y recrea muertes inusuales e incluye entrevistas con expertos que describen la ciencia detrás de cada muerte. Hasta la tercera temporada, la historia final de cada episodio mostraba imágenes reales de situaciones peligrosas que casi terminaron en muerte, junto con entrevistas a personas involucradas en dichas situaciones. El programa tiene un enfoque irónico de la muerte a través de la presentación de historias derivadas de los mitos, la ciencia e incidentes de la vida real. Representa las muertes utilizando recreaciones de los eventos junto con comentarios de expertos y a veces el testimonio de testigos, también utiliza animaciones generadas por computadora, similares a los utilizados en la famosa serie de televisión CSI, para ilustrar la forma en que la gente ha muerto. Una narración proporciona información básica de cada muerte-historia.
