Cinco amigos en edad preescolar, Uniqua, Pablo, Tyrone, Tasha, Austin , juegan en su patio trasero. Usando su imaginación, el patio trasero se transforma en diferentes mundos, donde tienen fantasías y muchas aventuras, desde el Nilo hasta buscar tierras convertidos en Vikingos, Tarzanes, Vaqueros, Náufragos, Reporteros de Tele pacífico, etc, o ser parte de una historia tenebrosa. La serie animada es un musical, donde se baila desde swing hasta zydeco o pueden interpretar un musical al estilo Broadway, incluso se baila música irlandesa. Al final de cada episodio van a la casa de alguno de ellos a comer un bocadillo; generalmente en casa de Uniqua, y muy raramente en casa de Tasha o de Austin.
