La noche más larga es la noche del 24 de diciembre: un grupo de hombres armados rodean la prisión Monte Baruca y cortan las comunicaciones con el exterior. Su objetivo: capturar a Simón Lago (Luis Callejo), un peligroso asesino en serie. Si los guardias lo entregan, el asalto acabará en cuestión de minutos.
