SeaQuest DSV (Temporada 1)

En el año 2018, debido a los problemas derivados de la superpoblación, la Humanidad ha visto obligada a colonizar los mares y ha creado la Organización de Océanos de la Tierra Unida (UEO), una entidad militar encargada de mantener el orden. La UEO convence a Nathan Bridger, un oficial retirado desde la muerte de su esposa y dedicado al estudio de los delfines, para volver al servicio activo y le asigna el mando del Seaquest DSV, un poderoso submarino con el que deberá patrullar el fondo del mar y velar por la paz en el sistema. La tripulación de este DSV (Deep Submergence Vehicle, es decir, vehículo de inmersión profunda) está integrada por personal militar y científico y entre sus miembros encontramos a un adolescente prodigio graduado magna cum laude en Inteligencia Artificial por la universidad de Stanford y hasta a un delfín parlante... gracias a la tecnología.
