La historia se ubica en una escuela católica para chicas llamada Ame no Kisaki, en donde es transferida la protagonista, Kanako Miyamae, quien posee una fobia hacia los hombres debido a las malas experiencias que ha tenido con estos en su niñez. Kanako tiene el objetivo de encontrar una novia en el colegio, motivada por la historia de amor entre sus padres, su madre era una alumna de dicha institución mientras que su padre era un profesor. En la escuela conoce a María, una chica rubia que en una primera impresión le parece hermosa, con un carácter amable y fresco, una chica perfecta. Kanako en seguida se enamora de su compañera, pero pronto descubre su terrible secreto
