Kenta Date, un joven estudiante de secundaria, es el campeón de un videojuego arcade conocido como "Megaranger". Debido a sus habilidades y capacidades, el I.N.E.T. la compañía lo trae para usar sus habilidades y destrezas en un proyecto de alto secreto relacionado con el juego Megaranger. En el mismo momento en que lo traen, otros cuatro estudiantes del "Club de Investigación Digital" en la Escuela Secundaria Moroboshi (la misma escuela secundaria a la que asistía Kenta) también aparecen en la empresa, investigando la misteriosa investigación que están realizando los científicos en el instalaciones. Sin embargo, como los cinco están dentro de la instalación, comienza un ataque preventivo del malvado Nezirejia, una fuerza dimensional malvada dirigida por el Dr. Hinelar bajo el mando de Electro-King Javious I con planes de conquistar esta realidad.
