MAGNÍFICA 70 es una serie de 13 episodios que utiliza el universo de Boca do Lixo de los años 70 en Brasil ?cuna de las pornochanchadas- para hablar de temas universales y atemporales como la confrontación entre lo deseado y lo prohibido, el deseo y la represión, la libertad y los prejuicios. La serie relata la historia de Vicente, un hombre de 35 años, que lleva una vida acomodada y reprimida, quien trabaja como agente de la oficina de Censura Federal y vive un matrimonio rutinario y frío con Isabel, hija del general Soto, hasta que le corresponde censurar la película \"A Devassa da Estudante\" (El Desenfreno de la Estudiante) y queda deslumbrado por la actriz, Dora Dumar. Esta fascinación lo llevará hasta Boca do Lixo, donde comenzará a trabajar con Dora y Manolo, el dueño de la productora Magnífica. En este seductor y caótico universo, se desarrollará un intenso triángulo de pasiones marcado por la obsesión.
