La serie se centrará en Lucifer (Tom Ellis) quien, aburrido e infeliz como el Señor del Infierno, dimite de su trono y abandona su reino para trasladarse a la ciudad de Los Angeles y abrir un lujoso piano-bar llamado Lux.
