La trama está situada en un futuro cercano, en donde las criaturas que viven en los sueños se refugian en el mundo real, enfrentando a la humanidad que, sintiéndose intimidada, busca silenciarlos, explotarlos o matarlos. Dos hermanos, Koen y Waruu West, que hace mucho tiempo no se habían visto, son forzados a unirse para luchar contra los terribles enemigos - tanto humanos como no de este mundo.
