El Vato y sus amigos aterrizan en Beverly Hills con un jugoso contrato firmado con la prestigiosa compañía discográfica de música regional mexicana (RMM) Principe Records. Sin embargo, cuando el propietario de esa compañía discográfica imperial está acusado de lavado de dinero, los añicos los sueños y se caen de sus sillas. Sin darse por vencido, los amigos de Hermosillo a luchar para obtener un nuevo contrato con Daniel "Lolo" Lozada, el "padrino" de la música regional mexicana.
