Una pandemia letal ha acabado con el 90% de la raza humana. Sólo unos pocos supervivientes, repartidos por el mundo, tendrán que encontrarse para decidir cómo seguir con sus vidas, plantar un nuevo gobierno o no, qué hacer con los campos, las propiedades, todas las cosas creadas por la mano del hombre. Como es de suponer, esto creará multitud de dilemas morales y éticos, además de las lógicas apariciones en momentos tan límites de gente que se dedique a robar, a intimidar, o sencillamente, a matar.
