El escenario es Sapporo, Hokkaido. Una noche, nuestra heroína, Minare Koda, le cuenta sus aflicciones a un locutor de radio que conoce mientras bebía una noche. Al día siguiente, escucha que una grabación de sus lamentables quejas es reproducida en vivo en la radio.
