Welcome to Like-List (hereinafter referred to as the "Service", "Platform", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and services. By accessing or using Like-List, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. We may modify these Terms at any time, and such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting on this page.

2. Eligibility and Registration

2.1. Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use Like-List. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or legal guardian's permission to use the Service and that they have read and agree to these Terms on your behalf.

Like-List is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform for organizing, tracking, and sharing your entertainment preferences, including movies, books, TV series, games, and music. As a SaaS provider, we deliver our services over the internet through subscription-based access. We provide tools to:

  • Create personal collections and bookmark lists
  • Share reviews and recommendations
  • Discover new content and connect with other enthusiasts
  • Access premium features through subscription plans

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

4.1. Subscription Tiers

Like-List offers the following subscription plans:

  • Free Plan: Basic features available to all users
  • Premium Plan: $5/month - Unlimited collections, ad-free experience, verification, and priority support
  • Premium Plus Plan: $10/month - All Premium features plus content monetization, private collections, and advanced analytics
  • Corporate Plan: $100/month - Enterprise features including user analytics, behavioral insights, and full API access

4.2. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment [Stripe, Paddle, etc.]. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to our payment processor's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Subscription fees are charged automatically on a monthly basis unless you cancel your subscription before the renewal date.

4.3. Free Trial Periods

We offer free trial periods for our paid plans:

  • Premium: 14-day free trial
  • Premium Plus: 7-day free trial
  • Corporate: 30-day free trial

If you cancel during the trial period, you will not be charged. After the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled.

4.4. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You will continue to have access to premium features until the end of the billing period.

5. User Content and Conduct

5.1. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of all content you post on Like-List, including reviews, comments, collections, and recommendations. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content on the Platform.

5.2. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

As a SaaS platform, Like-List maintains an Acceptable Use Policy to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all users. You agree to comply with this AUP and not to:

  • Post illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Violate any intellectual property rights
  • Spam, harass, or harm other users
  • Use the Service for any unauthorized commercial purposes
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use automated scripts or bots without permission
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform

Violations of our Acceptable Use Policy may result in suspension or termination of your account and access to our SaaS services.

5.3. Political Platform Restriction

This platform cannot be used as a political platform. Prohibited activities include calls for politically motivated actions, voting campaigns, or content that oppresses or ridicules groups of people. Violations may result in restricted access or account suspension.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on Like-List, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Like-List or its licensors and is protected by international copyright and trademark laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without explicit written permission, except as expressly permitted by these Terms.

7. Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with various third-party APIs and services, including:

  • TheMovieDB.org API (movie and TV series data)
  • OpenLibrary API (book information)
  • RAWG.io API (game data)
  • Google APIs (various services)
  • Spotify API (music information)

Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Like-List is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of information provided through the Service or third-party APIs.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Like-List and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or any other reason we deem necessary.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease, and you will lose access to all premium features and content.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or through a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Like-List operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
