全世界を襲ったパンデミックの影響による都市封鎖。カイロ(イライジャ・カンラス)は日常の鬱屈を晴らすかのように、オンラインゲームに熱中する毎日を送っていた。 そんなカイロに突然届いた、自分を負かした対戦相手・エンジェル2000(ハンドルネーム)からの友達申請。彼の本名はガブリール・アラルコン(ココイ・デ・サントス)、愛称“ガブ”。ゲームの再戦を熱望するカイロに対しガブが提示した条件は、カイロが負けたら自分と付き合う、という突拍子もないものだった。 ガブの積極的なアプローチに戸惑いながらも、自分を包み込むようなガブの優しさに次第に引かれるカイロ。しかし、会いたくても会えない歯がゆい状況が続くなか、画面越しに心の距離を縮めていく2人の前にさまざまな障壁が立ちはだかる。
