実家の花屋で働く結花は、書店で出会った大学生の浅海と意気投合し連絡先を交換。だが、トラブルが発生し結花は浅海と連絡が取れなくなってしまった。1年後、結花は近所の高校教師・関谷のもとに集金へ行くことに。そこで、大学を卒業し教師になっていた浅海と偶然再会する。互いに意識するあまり、2人は些細なことが原因でケンカを始めてしまう。そのとき、激しい地震が発生する。
