2030年のミラノで、秘密シンジケート、シタデルのエージェントであるディアナ・カヴァリエリは、敵対組織であるマンティコアに潜入するが、８年後にシタデルはマンティコアによって壊滅に追い込まれてしまう。戻る場所を失ったディアナに、組織を抜けるチャンスが訪れるが、協力者となったマンティコア・イタリアの後継者 エド・ザニを信じるか否か、決断を迫られる。
