死体安置所で働くことになったトゥルーは、自分に死体が助けを求める声が聞こえ、その死体が殺害された当日に戻ってその日を体験することが出来るという特殊な能力があることに気づく。彼女はその24時間以内に、なんとか真犯人を探し出して被害者を死から救おうとする。途中からモルグの同僚ジャックが登場し、彼女の能力を知るが、運命を変えさせないことが自分の使命だと考えて彼女を妨害する。
