セイバーマリオネットJ (シーズン 2)

メソポタミア号不時着から300年。男性のみの閉塞した世界は、目には見えぬが徐々に衰退の道をたどり始めていた。クローニング技術の限界による出生率の低下、男性社会による力支配による社会の先鋭化。6つの都市国家の元首たちはそれを感じていながら、誰も打開策を得ることができずにいた。その中でゲルマニア（ガルトラント）総統・ファウストはその打開策を「優秀な人間のクローンによる他のクローンの支配」と位置づけ、テラツー征服の野望を燃やし始めた。そんな世界情勢の中、ジャポネスの少年・間宮小樽は子供の頃に訪れたことのある“ジャポネス歴史資料館”にて偶然、隠し廊下に迷い込み地下室へとたどり着く。そこで彼が見たものは、一体の女性型アンドロイド“マリオネット”だった。自らを「ライム」と名乗るそのマリオネットのマスターとなった小樽は、普通のマリオネットとは全く違うライムの“感情がある”行動に翻弄される。そんな日々の中、小樽は偶然にもある人物に出会う。それはジャポネス将軍・徳川家安だった。家安はライムが来るべき“女性復活”のために造られた“道標”であることを明かし、ライムと同様に造られた“標”たるチェリーとブラッドベリーと共にその運命を小樽に託す。そしてファウストと家安、2人の「女性復活」と「テラツーの未来」を賭けた戦いに小樽は巻き込まれていくこととなる。
