『装甲騎兵ボトムズ』と同じ世界観で作られた物語はTV版『ボトムズ』第1話の4ヶ月前、つまり百年戦争終結2 ヶ月後からスタートする。ストーリーは『ボトムズ』に依拠しないオリジナルだが、事件発端の大元の部分ではクロスオーバーしている。 ー メロウリンク・アリティは、味方が無事に撤退するための捨て石にされたシュエップス小隊の、唯一の生き残り兵士。しかし彼は軍法廷で敵前逃亡、公金横領の濡れ衣を着せられてしまう。これがどさくさ紛れに物資を隠匿した軍高官たちの陰謀だと知ったメロウリンクは、死んだ戦友たちの恨みを晴らすための復讐を開始する。
