В 8 веке в Средней Азии, на ещё не охваченных исламом землях, царит дикая эпоха. Китай направил свои войска на Турцию, а в ловушке ждут русские варяги, монголы, согдийцы и персы. Турецкие ханства, берущие начало от одних кровных предков, нападают друг на друга. Между турецкими Гекским Ханством и Дагским Ханством существует большая вражда. В это время Алпагу-Хан, великий хан Гекского ханства, решает взять дочь своего брата Аккыз, которую он подозревает в восстании, в качестве невесты своему сыну-инвалиду Батуге.
