Странные и опасные приключения случаются не только с супергероями. Юная выпускница университета по имени Тру Дэвис, работая ночной дежурной в нью-йоркском морге, тоже ухитряется стать участницей необычной истории. Всё началось с того, что ночью ей привиделось - вернее, прислышилось - что жертва убийства просит её о помощи.
