Викинги Олуха и их бывшие враги — драконы — теперь живут вместе в мире и покое, однако такое соседство всё равно не так уж гармонично, как хотелось бы. Несмотря на мирное сосуществование, драконы всё-таки остаются существами непредсказуемыми и опасными, реагирующими на многие вещи совершенно неожиданно. Иккинг решается открыть Школу для дрессировки драконов на Олухе, чтобы помочь драконам влиться в общество людей. Сериал повествует о дальнейших приключениях Иккинга и его верного дракона Беззубика, а также остальных юных викингов — Астрид, Рыбьенога, Сморкалы, Забияки и Задираки — у каждого из которых теперь есть свой дракон. Во время тренировок друзьям удалось установить особые дружеские связи со своими драконами, изучив особенности и силу каждого из них. Судьба занесёт наших героев в самые разные места, где они откроют совершенно новых драконов, найдут новые приключения и будут сражаться с новыми злодеями, познавая мир, о котором даже и не подозревали.
