Баскетбол Куроко (Сезон 0)

В японском молодежном баскетболе все знают среднюю школу Тэйко, клуб которой славен не только традициями, но и великолепной «дрим тим», «чудо-поколением», пятеркой гениев, которая в последние годы выиграла в своей категории все, что можно. Настало время — и пятеро юных талантов разошлись по пяти старшим школам — разумеется, столь же престижным в спортивном плане. Но лишь немногие знали, что кроме прославленной пятерки в команде Тэйко был и шестой, мало чем уступавший им игрок, чье имя и заслуги по какой-то причине так и остались в тени. Между тем главный герой по имени Тэцуя Куроко поступает в старшую школу Сэйрин и записывается в местный клуб. Сэйрин — школа новая, но ее команда уже успела побывать в финале национального турнира. А тут еще в клуб пришли новички, один из которых по имени Тайга Кагами учился игре в Америке — Святой Земле баскетбола. Но что это? Неказистый с виду Куроко, по его словам, не только числился в звездной команде Тэйко, но и регулярно выходил на площадку с «поколением чудес»? Правду ли говорит парень, и если так, то в чем его талант, который пока не видят ни опытные игроки, ни девушка-тренер Рико Айда?
