После 17 лет, проведенных в ливанском плену, израильские солдаты Нимрод Клейн, Ури Зак и Амьель Бен Хорин возвращаются домой национальными героями. Им приходится адаптироваться к своей внезапной свободе, справляться с физическими и моральными травмами, нажитыми за годы неволи, и восстанавливать отношения с семьями. Военный врач-психиатр помогает солдатам вернуться к нормальной жизни, но в процессе работы обнаруживает несоответствия в показаниях бывших военнопленных и начинает собственное расследование, чтобы узнать, что скрывают эти три героя.
