На южной трассе, где придорожные кафе чередуются с развалами спелых фруктов, в притоне работают три подруги Света, Марина и Людка. Их бывшая напарница — предприимчивая Жанна — уехала покорять Москву, но вернулась к девчонкам с предложением начать новый — легальный — бизнес. Постепенно подруги проникаются амбициями Жанны и уже готовятся покончить с сомнительным заработком. Только путь в новую жизнь далеко не так безопасен, как может показаться на первый взгляд.
