Set in the fictional rural community of West Virginia, the series follows the McCoy family as they navigate the challenges and joys of country life after relocating from the mountains of Appalachia to a small farm. "The Real McCoys" was notable for its blend of humor and heartfelt storytelling, often tackling themes such as family loyalty, the importance of hard work, and the value of community.
