Mister Rogers' Neighborhood is an American children's television series that was created and hosted by namesake Fred Rogers. The series originated in 1963 as Misterogers on CBC Television, and was later debuted in 1966 as Misterogers' Neighborhood on the regional Eastern Educational Network, followed by its US network debut on February 19, 1968, and it aired on NET and its successor, PBS, until August 31, 2001. The series is aimed primarily at preschool ages 2 to 5, but has been stated by PBS as "appropriate for all ages". Mister Rogers' Neighborhood was produced by Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA public broadcaster WQED and Rogers' non-profit production company Family Communications, Inc.; previously known as Small World Enterprises prior to 1971, the company was renamed The Fred Rogers Company after Rogers' death.

    Overview: Mister Rogers arrives with a new plant which he adds to his aquarium before taking viewers out back to his garage/workshop. In the garage, Mister Rogers shows a variety of items such as his tool collection, a boat, plants, and even a few puppets from the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. With a television and videotape equipment set up, Mister Rogers reveals a massive collection of recorded Neighborhood visits.

    Overview: Mister Rogers is taking things to his garage including a large carrying case used to store the Neighborhood of Make-Believe modles. As he is putting the models in the case, he notices that the base of the tree model has been slightly damaged. Luckily Betty Aberlin is in the garage doing some painting and is able to help repair the tree.

    Overview: Mister Rogers arrives with a large black cape which he has borrowed from Margaret Hamilton. Taking the cape to the garage, he talks about acting and pretends to be Mr. McFeely. While he waits on a visit from Joe Negri, Mister Rogers shows the video camera he has set up before he sings Pretending.

    Overview: Mister Rogers arrives with a plastic pail which he takes to the garage. On the way, he picks up a bottle of glue from the kitchen and fills the pail with sand from the backyard sand table. In the garage, he spreads the glue on a large piece of construction paper and sprinkles it with sand. Chef Brockett calls to let Mister Rogers know he will be coming over to bring back the film of Mari Gardner from the previous day. While he waits, Mister Rogers makes another piece of artwork with glue and glitter.

    Overview: A light in the traffic light has burned out and Mister Rogers arrives with a replacement. After replacing the bulb on the green signal, he spends some time talking about crossing the street safely. In the garage, Mister Rogers shows a recording of a time when Francois Clemmons took him to see the police station. When the clip is finished, Francois Clemmons stops by dressed in his police uniform and sings songs from various Neighborhood operas. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Aberlin and Grandpere look into the future to see that Collette has married Daniel Striped Tiger. At the tree with Officer Clemmons and X the Owl, Lady Aberlin learns that X has become a professor at Owl Correspondence School. Meanwhile, Lady Elaine Fairchilde has gone to discover new planets, just as her future vision has suggested.
