Prince Regent is a British period television series that first aired on the BBC in 1979. It depicted the life of George IV from his youth, time as Prince Regent and his reign as King. It consists of eight episodes of 50 minutes.

Overview: With the Napoleonic Wars now finally over, the Regent decides that it is time for his beautiful and high-spirited daughter, Princess Charlotte, to marry. He has a candidate, the Prince of Orange, but the strong-willed Princess favours another. Her marriage ends in tragedy.
