All the staff have been awarded pay rises, including the two secretaries who are making plans for their forthcoming summer holidays. Managing Director Dicky Bligh has also been given a new car in appreciation of his services, by Sir Charles. Peck is being hounded by his bank manager and he decides to ask Bligh for a rise. All he gets is a key to the executive toilet and a surprise when he goes to use it. Having overheard one of the sales managers threaten to resign if he did not get a rise, and realising that this ploy might work, he immediately hands in his resignation, Bligh rubs his hands in glee. . .
