"Dream High" kể câu chuyện của sáu học sinh trường Trung học Nghệ thuật Kirin có ước mơ trở thành những ngôi sao của làng K-pop Hàn Quốc. Go Hye Mi là một nữ sinh theo chuyên ngành thanh nhạc cổ điển nhưng phải từ bỏ ước mơ để vào học trường Kirin nhằm trả nợ cho bố. Tuy nhiên, cô cần phải tìm về hai bạn học đặc cách khác để được nhận vào trường. Hai người bạn đó là Song Sam Dong, một cậu thiếu niên sống ở vùng quê và Hyun Shi Hyuk, một người Hye Mi tình cờ gặp trên trường chạy trốn bọn chủ nợ.
