城户士郎（吉田宗洋 饰）和木岛理生（竹财辉之助 饰）曾经是共同以文学为理想的同级生，然而，木岛杰出的文学天赋让士郎对其充满了妒忌，在阅读了木岛所创作的作品后，自叹不如的士郎放弃了梦想，转而成为了一名色情小说编辑。一晃眼多年过去，在恩师的葬礼上，士郎和木岛重逢了。可是，让士郎没有想到的是，眼前的这个本该在文学界大放异彩的男人看上去确是如此的落魄，木岛的写作来到了漫长的瓶颈期。在士郎的建议之下，木岛决定向色轻小说界发起进攻，士郎将色情小说家蒲生田郁夫（大石吾郎 饰）介绍给了木岛，让木岛向其拜师学艺。
