东京言问桥老字号点心铺的老板久留卓三（吉田钢太郎饰）是土生土长的东京人，在父亲从小严格的教育下，身为点心职人的他制作招牌点心的技艺早已超越了父亲。但是，在私生活方面，他经历了三次失败的婚姻。已经55岁的卓三每天悠闲度日，爱好是拿着小时候父亲给他买的老旧相机在街上散步，将日益变化的古老、美丽的东京风景拍下来。就在这样的日子里，卓三总会遇到令他动心的女性。她们或是卓三的初恋，或是亡友的遗孀，或是夜总会女郎。他抱着淡淡的爱慕之情，与她们度过短暂的时光，一起漫步街头，共享美酒佳肴，互相倾诉心事。
