英国偶像 (季节 9)

《英国偶像》是一档英国的歌唱选秀节目，旨在通过海选寻找歌唱新星。过去六季的选秀活动都是从8月或者9月开始一直持续到12月，这档节目是由FemantMedia和Simon Cowell联合制作的，其名称中的“X Factor”是指要成为明星所需具备的“神秘因素”。这档节目在英国的ITV电视台以及爱尔兰的TV3套均有播出，由于大获成功更是衍生出两档在ITV1套和ITV2套播出的幕后花絮节目——《The Xtra Factor》和《The X Factor 24/7》。《英国偶像》的诞生是为了代替曾经大获成功的《流行偶像》。　　在最初的电视海选阶段，选手面对的评委是Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Dannii Minogue,Cheryl Cole还有现场的观众，选手们都希望可以顺利晋级到“训练营”环节。经过近一轮的淘汰赛，评委们会给每位选手指定一种演唱风格，而那些参加决赛的选手需要通过之后才能进入到最后阶段的竞争。而在此期间，每周由歌迷投票选出他们最喜欢的现场演唱的歌手。这档节目是整个欧洲最大的选秀节目，而且也是广受欢迎。第六季更是吸引了多达20万人参加海选，最终集吸引了1970万观众收看节目更有1000万歌迷投票参与。《英国偶像》的赛制已经被很多国家沿用，并在世界范围内获得成功。
