神话集团开设的高中学院是富家子弟的摇篮。其中，四大财团公子组成的F4，在学院里横行无忌。平民少女金丝草（具惠善 饰）进入学院后，为朋友小秋出头得罪了F4之首的具俊表（李民浩 饰），但是她不畏强权，跟F4作斗争，凭借着正直、善良的个性，感动了忧郁的F4成员尹智侯（金贤重 饰）。智侯一直恋着模特闵瑞娴（韩彩英 饰）。后者在舞会上帮丝草圆场，鼓励她坚持自己。在与俊表的交锋中，两人渐渐产生了感情。然而，遭瑞娴拒绝的智侯却倍加呵护丝草，多次误会让俊表感到了危机。两人甚至为丝草展开了三轮对决，裁判是俊表的姐姐。此后，两人又发生了一连串剪不断理还乱的感情纠葛……
