地底世界Down World（ダウンワールド）居住了名為惡魔族（アクマ族）的人類，當中由惡魔族及地上人類混血而生的佐比丹（ザビタン），因反對族人侵略地面而出走。 惡魔族因而派遣伊比路（イビル）及加貝拉（ガブラ）追殺之。但後來二人因佐比丹的真誠而改變，三人組成了伏魔三劍俠，為地面的人類與自己的一族而戰。
