《超级战队》系列是由石森章太郎首创八手三郎续写，东映株式会社制作从1975年在日本朝日电视台播出的《秘密战队五连者》开始的TV特摄系列片，电视剧总集数超过2200集。 该系列自1975年开始48年的悠久历史中，共诞生了48支风格迥异的战队。从1979年起，每年都会播放新作品。 [8-9] 该系列作品的主题新颖多样，曾荣获日本银河赏、日本铁路奖、日本SF大会星云赏（日本星云奖）等多项奖项。 [9] 该系列主要讲述主角们变身成为穿戴不同颜色面具与战斗服的英雄团队，与邪恶势力进行斗争，大多数以红色英雄为中心，拥有不同代表色、不同个性、不同能力的英雄以团队形式合力克服困难，协力战斗，守护人们的爱、梦想、和平与微笑的故事。 [8-9] 作为一个非常庞大的特摄系列片，《超级战队》系列与《奥特曼》系列、《假面骑士》系列并称为日本最受欢迎的特摄节目，共同构成日本特摄铁三角，被称为“日本三大特摄”。
