小遥（友坂理惠 饰）成长在一个破碎的家庭之中，和母亲结女（浅野温子 饰）过着相依为命的生活。每一年生日那天，小遥都会受到一盒神秘的录音带，小遥一直相信这些录音带是她的父亲寄来的。长久以来，结女一直保持着单身，虽然青梅竹马的玩伴芝木贡（织田裕二 饰）一直默默的喜欢和帮助着结女，但芝木贡有一个嫉妒心极强的女友伊藤初音（富田靖子 饰），她的存在让结女和芝木贡一直无法两情相悦。 某天，小遥震惊的发现，她一直以为是自己父亲的新平（佐藤浩市 饰）其实和自己并没有血缘关系。这一年的生日，小遥再度受到了录音带，第一次，录音带里出现了一个男人的声音。
