《泰罗·奥特曼》（日本语：ウルトラマンタロウ），是《奥特曼系列》的第六部作品，首播日期为1973年4月6日至1974年4月5日。这部作品主要讲述了东京湾突然出现了食油超兽多林卡，青年东光太郎挺身而出，孤身奋战将超兽赶走，他的勇敢机智赢得了宇宙科学警备队ZAT的队长朝日奈勇太郎的赞赏，也赢得了化身绿婆婆的奥特之母的认可。于是他被邀请加入了宇宙科学警备队ZAT，又被奥特之母赋予了能够变身为泰罗的奥特徽章，在第一次与怪兽阿斯托罗姆斯的战斗中，献出了生命，这时奥特五兄弟将东光太郎带入了另一个空间并与奥特之母一起把泰罗的生命给予了东光太郎。我们的主角泰罗就因此诞生了，泰罗的近身格斗和远程射击的光线技能威力都十分强大，是奥特兄弟中最强的。 作为一个有亲生父母的角色，也表现了这部现代科幻故事的魅力。
