《重金摇滚双面人》是若杉公德所画作的日本漫画，以死亡金属音乐为主题，题目源自于美国流行乐队KISS的名曲《Detroit Rock City》，由白泉社出版。漫画中的重金摇滚乐歌词都以粗口和污秽的言词为主，但配合各种讽刺和恶搞而作的变态行为相当多。 动画根据漫画前2卷主要内容而改编，由著名的动画工作室STUDIO 4℃制作。每集长度13分钟，分12集，每集又分二个小段。于2008年8月8日发行DVDBOX的OVA动画。

概述: Soichi Negishi moved to Tokyo to chase his dream of becoming a musician playing stylish, Swedish-style pop. Instead, he finds himself leading the death metal band Detroit Metal City, or DMC, as the costumed and grotesquely made-up "demon emperor" Johannes Krauser II. Although he hates the role and the things he has to do as a member of the band, he has a definite talent for it. Adapted from the hit Japanese comic book by Kiminori Wakasugi, the movie follows Negishi's antics as he tries to reconcile the two very different sides of his life and find out what it really means to achieve his dream.
