和大多数的全职家庭主妇一样，浅葱芹菜（深田恭子 饰）尽心尽力的扮演着这一角色，就算身为职场女性的好友看低她嘲笑她，她也不以为意。可是，结婚两年多，芹菜发现自己和丈夫武文（藤木直人 饰）之间的关系逐渐走入了低谷，整日埋头于家事之中的她俨然已经失去了魅力和吸引力，而芹菜对武文浓烈的爱意也让武文感到不堪重负。 一次意外中，一色狼企图非礼芹菜未遂，这番画面却被偶然路过的名为阵内香树（桐谷健太 饰）的私家侦探拍到，看似仪表堂堂的香树竟然以此“敲诈”起了芹菜。为了赚钱赎回录像带，芹菜无奈之下成为了香树的“跟班”，开始了她的“侦探人生”。在此过程中，会有怎样的波折和趣事等待着芹菜呢？
