自称是音乐人的无业游民安迪年过三十还一事无成，写好遗书放好音乐准备在家自杀，突然接到姐姐一个电话要求去照顾自己的侄子。Andy不得不中断自杀计划前往学校接侄子去踢足球，并在学校遇到漂亮的女老师一见倾心。安迪对自己12岁的侄子的照顾并不上心，但是二人经过一天遭遇之后开始逐渐亲近。作为一个三十多岁的大龄男孩，安迪从侄子身上学到如何摒弃自私，承担责任。
